Oh no...oh my...

Can it be true?...No seriously..... I don’t understand.... ARGHHHHHHHH!

These are just a few reactions that people may have when they hear the news... the Spice Girls are heading to the big screen...again!

For those who can’t remember or choose not to, let me refresh your memory of what the original Spice Girls movie, Spice World.
Imdb has the synopsis listed as ‘Climb aboard the double decker Spice Bus and get ready for a madcap musical adventure with the sexy phenomenons of pop - the Spice Girls. An encounter with extra-terrestrials, a night in a haunted castle, and a moment of truth in a maternity ward are just a few of the escapades the endeavored upon as the Girls gear up for their first live concert at London's Royal Albert Hall’ (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120185/)

The new movie is rumoured to be called Viva Forever and is meant to be employing Judy Craymer and the team behind the hit Mamma Mia!

Will update when I know more :S

James Jean = LOVE

I’ve fallen in love. Occasionally I come across something via google search, or magazines, or different blogs that makes me stop and go wow!

James Jeans art is one of those things. I was browsing a favourite blog of my Diary of an Indy Girl (check it out www.indygirl.blogspot.com/) and I came across her blog mentioning James Jean and showcasing a few of his pieces. I instantly fell in love with his work and had to see more!

Google my friend lead the way :) http://www.jamesjean.com/

So after about an hour of smiling at the beautiful creative genius that is James Jean’s work I have collected a few of my favourites to share.

Enjoy!
How beautiful is this sketching...jealous muchly!

Unexpected Post

One thing I always look forward to each day is when the mailman comes. I love receiving mail.

There is nothing better than receiving mail. Receiving a letter from friends is a phenomenon that only happens once in a blue moon, but when it does its spectacular. Unexpected mail is the best type!

But honestly I get happy when I even just receive bills in the mail, because I get mail!....yes these mundane things do make me happy.

So I’ve decided to start writing more letters to my friends. Its my hope that these letters will help bring the same little smile to their faces as I get on mine when I get something un expected in the mail, and admittedly I’m selfishly hoping that maybe just maybe that smile will make them so happy they send me a letter back....so then I to can have the pleasure of unexpected mail.

one foot infront of the other

We’re pulling up our roots, putting ourselves in travel pots and then replanting ourselves in richer ground. Shedding our dead limbs in the hope of re-growing new ones.

Once in a while we all need a change, a fresh outlook, a new path, something to shake up the routine of life. Just even a small something to give you some new perspective and some new inspirations.

For quite a while I’ve been finding myself stuck in a rut, unsure of where to go from here. Not sure what I wanted to do, and trying to figure out where abouts to head from here. Now finally things are going to be shaken up :)

After all, variety is the spice of life.

Unfinished Oz

10 years ago, over 300,000 Australians showed their support for reconciliation by walking as one over the Sydney harbour Bridge. This year, UnfinishedOz is looking to the future, and they want to connect everyday Australians to do the same. It’s about pledging your support for reconciliation, past, present and future.

No Capes!

The classic outfit of one of the most famous female superheroes is about to be placed back in her closet, and a more modern emsemble choosen.
To mark the 600th edition of Wonder Woman, DC comics have decided after 69 years of the same outfit that it's time for Wonder Woman to ditch the hot pants, bustier and go-go boots for something a little more up to date. The Amazonic beauty will don black leggings, a studded demin jacket and gloves. However theres a few things she won't lose her headband and ofcourse her golden lasso of truth.

From the looks of the mock up covers I've seen this new emsemble adds a fresh, contemporary and up to date look to the classic heroine.
What do you think? Do you like Wonder Womans updated attire or should DC keep the Amzonic superhero in her prefered attire of the last 69 years?
